Happy Birthday Milo!

We celebrated Milo's birthday by heading outdoors to do some hiking and geocaching. It ended up being a beautiful day on our hike up to Woodbine falls and we found several geocaches on the way up and back. We even ran into some mountain goats. It was a fun day!

Easter Fun

After the park We went to Wayne and Melissa's house.  The kids had an egg hunt.  Some played games, talked, and decorated cookies.

Easter at the Park

The day before Easter Mom and Dad, Debbie's family, Snick and Chuck, Natalie's family, Vicki's family, Wayne's family and Tami's family met at the park for a picnic. The weather was perfect. The food was great, and the kids just played and played.

Easter Eggs

On Tuesday we dyed Eater Eggs with Debbie, Randy and Kyle.
I put this old onsie on her in case she got egg dye on it.  She didn't so we had to help her out.
 The boys dying their eggs.
Wayne's crazy egg.  Debbie said even after she peeled it the inside was still dyed.
Afterward we made cupcake easter baskets.
The finished baskets.

Happy Birthday Connor!

Connor celebrated his 12th birthday on Friday by inviting his friends Zack and Devin to go have pizza with us and go skating at the roller rink in Laurel. It was a blast! As a birthday boy, they had him stand in the middle of the rink under the disco ball while a birthday song played. Then they gave him a certificate for a free skate. After that, we headed home and the boys watched a movie and had a sleepover. Connor got some cool gifts including a baseball bat, some baseballs, a mitt and some other fun little gifts from our family. His friends gave him a target gift card and some spending money. He also received a fun birthday card in the mail from Grandpa & Grandma Evans with $20.

Connor is excited to receive the priesthood and be able to pass the sacrament. He will be ordained a deacon next Sunday by his Grandpa Solomon and will be the only active deacon in the branch. Go Connor! We are glad you had a wonderful birthday and we love you very much!

February Quick Trip

I am late putting this on the blog, but we were so excited to go down in February. We got to visit Grandma Christensen in New Castle, attended Paris & Christy's wedding in Parowan and then continued on to St. George and Logandale to visit a bunch of family. I know it was only for a short time, and I wish we could've spent more quality time with everyone, but we were glad to come anyway. Here are a few pictures from our trip.

Grandma was so sweet to have a nice big dinner ready for us when we got to her house after 15 hours of driving. It was so nice! These pictures were taken the next morning as we were getting ready for the wedding. Thanks for having us Grandma! After a nice wedding ceremony in the Old Rock Church in Parowan.

Paris & Christy live in Columbus and we do a lot together.
