Wayne's Hunt

Not much of a hunt, it was over in about an hour.  

 I wasn't sure I wanted to shoot him on the first morning

but Rylan talked me into it.

 We stalked to within about 30-40 yards

and took one shot with a muzzleloader.

Fall Baseball

Rylan and Chandler both played in the Las Vegas Baseball 

Academy (LVBA) fall baseball league.  Both of their teams 

won the championship in their divisions.

Chandler won the 9u division

Happy Birthday, Tylee!

Happy 18th Birthday @tyleeann I can't even believe how fast these years have flown by! There is nobody I'd rather go on trips with, laugh with, cry with, joke with, love life with than this beautiful girl!! I'm so proud of the woman you're becoming! I'm blessed to have such a wonderful friend! You are the best example to all of us!! You've made it so easy being your mom!! Have the best day ever Tylee Annie. Wish I could be with you!!

Nevada Little League State Championship

Rylan played on the Mountain Ridge 

Little League 10 year old all-star team

 After winning the Nevada District 4 championship, they

 traveled to Carson City to play in the Nevada State championship

 Rylan played short stop and hit in the

leadoff spot for the entire tournament

 They lost one game to Silverado West, and had to come

back up through the loser's bracket and beat the same

team twice in a row to win the state championship.

 Mountain Ridge Little League swept the state tournament

by winning state in the 10, 11, AND 12 year old divisions.

This was the first time in Nevada history that the same 

Little League won all three divisions

Super-Star

... Oh, I mean All-star, Rylan!

Rylan played the first game of his all-star career last night for the Mountain Ridge 10 year old all-star team.  He started off by scoring an over the fence home run.  Wayne was so happy to have caught it on camera in the picture below.

Rylan continued the game by hitting for the cycle. (single, double, triple, and home run in one game)

He got on base 7 times.  Mountain Ridge beat Pahrump 35-2.

I realize that there are lots of birthdays this time of year and I don't have pictures for everyone's so, I am going to post what I have and hopefully others will fill in the birthdays that I miss!

 Father's Day and Snick's birthday fell on the same day so we had a Snick/ Father's Day Bobbie feast. (smoked turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce on a bun)  Debbie made the delicious carrot cake you see in the picture
