Chuck has a TRUCK!

Charlie left on the 4th of July on the Greyhound bus to Pomona, CA to finish up his training.  He called yesterday to tell me he passed his test and was issued a truck.  He was told previously that he would get to come home again before heading out on the road, but his co-driver will be there tomorrow and they're expected to start working immediately.  He didn't even pack all of his stuff!  Hopefully he'll get to stop in for a few days.  

CONGRATULATIONS, Charlie on your new career!

4th of July in Las Vegas

Believe it or not this is the serious picture.  The silly ones were scary!

 Carissa looks pretty happy as an only child (hee hee) Kyle was working and Cameron was at the Lake.

The kids did a few sparklers.

Then, ate bomb pops (Jared didn't want to take another picture)

We watched some early fireworks the neighbors were doing.

Then we went to the fire station to watch the fireworks with Wayne. 

Wayne got a call just as the fireworks were starting.  He got back just after they ended.  So we sat in the parking lot and enjoyed the cool weather for a while afterward.

Yes, I said COOL weather, these girls had to bundle up because they were cold!

Cedar Summer Sizzler Tournament

Rylan played in a tournament in Cedar City

on June 29 and 30.

 The Bomb Squad took 2nd place.

 They lost 4-3 in the championship game

to a team from Snow Canyon.

Good Job Rylan!

Chandler's Birthday

Chandler got an iPod Touch for his birthday.

 He took his brothers and a couple buddies

 to U-Swirl and then to the movies.

 He wanted german pancakes for his birthday dinner.

 He wanted a baseball cake and homemade

mint oreo ice cream for dessert.
