Bridal Shower for Cassie

Joseph Millett

Here is a good little video for home evening found on lds.org about Joseph Millett, who is our 3rd great grandfather.  He is the great-grandfather of Grandma Lucille Gifford Evans - so he would be the 2nd great-grandfather of dad (Samuel Gary Evans).  Thanks, mom, for sharing this!

MLK Dreams Classic 2014

Rylan and Chandler both played in the MLK Dreams Classic
Rylan played well, but his team was missing
some players and they struggled.
Chandler had a key hit with two outs in the last inning of the
semi-final to send it into extra innings.
His team took 2nd place in the tournament.

Letter from Granny C.

Dear Julie,  You are a Jewel, and a great Evans Blogger.  Do you know that you are making history for the Evans Family?  A lot of things get lost over the years and one of the things that you are doing, the family will look back and say Aunt Julie or "Snick" kept us up of what was going on in the Evans family, even if it was "good or Bad" and posterity will say Thanks for that Precious "Jewel".  Most of you will be around a lot longer than me.  You could say Grandma is over the hill, but I still enjoy what is going on with my Family.
Get with it some of you slackers, and make History!
                    Love you all  Grandmother Christensen

Message from Snick:  This is also for any of you who contribute to the blog, especially Wayne & Melissa, as well as the awesome scrapbook pages that have been made by Deb & Suzy and scanned by mom.  I love looking back and seeing how everyone has changed over the years.  Keep up the great work, everyone, and keep the pictures and stories coming!!
